SLU adds second keeper from Wisconsin

Roman Vassel, a 6-foot-1, 170-pound keeper from Menomonee Falls, Wis., confirmed Thursday morning that he has committed to Saint Louis University.

Vassel plays club soccer for Bavarians SC. He recently helped Marquette University (Milwaukee, Wis.) to a third straight state title and a high ranking in the ESR Top 50.

Vassel joins fellow Wisconsin native and goalkeeper Bryan Seefeld, who also has committed to the Billikens. The rest of Saint Louis’ Class of 2013 commits are Justin Graham of Missouri, Miles Khalil Davis of Virginia, Max Karcher of Wisconsin and Joseph Saad of California.
