Illinois forward commits to SIUE

Joel Duncan, a Class of 2013 midfielder/forward prospect from Mount Vernon, Ill., confirmed to ESR that he has committed to Southern Illinois-Edwardsville.

Duncan has played in all 13 matches for Scott Gallagher-Metro Under-17/18s in the Development Academy, starting nine matches and scoring a goal.

He played high school soccer at Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, Ill.) through his junior year, when he scored a school record 32 goals in 2011 and added a school-best 13 assists.

Duncan joins an SIU-Edwardsville Class of 2013 group that includes Kyle Dal Santo of Illinois, Jason Hackett and Austin Ledbetter of Missouri, Devyn Jambga of Zimbabwe, Andrew Kendall-Moullin of Georgia and Mitchell Williams of Virginia.
