Tennessee defender picks South Carolina

Trey Gill, a Class of 2013 defender prospect from Nashville, Tenn., confirmed to ESR that he has committed to South Carolina.

Gill played high school soccer at Montgomery Bell Academy (Nashville, Tenn.) and club soccer for FC Alliance.

He originally committed to American University, but recently switched his verbal.

Gill is South Carolina’s seventh commitment for the Class of 2013 in what is a heavy defensive class. Gill joins fellow defenders Ive Burnett of Mississippi, Andrew Davis and Pietro Bottari of South Carolina, along with midfielder Koty Millard of South Carolina and forwards Hamilton Carlin and Eli Dent of South Carolina.
