Col. of Charleston picks up international standout

Adan Noel, a high-scoring forward for the Trindad & Tobago Under-20 National Team, has verbally committed to the College of Charleston, ESR learned Thursday.

Noel has made 10 international appearances with T&T, scoring three goals. Noel assisted on the opening goal as Trinidad & Tobago defeated Puetro Rico 2-0 last month in a FIFA Under-20 World Championship qualifying match.

Noel plays club soccer for DirecTV W Connection and attends Naparima College, an all-boys high school in Trinidad.

He joins a College of Charleston recruiting class that includes Erik Clark, Christian Jablonski and Brock King of South Carolina, Ike Crook of Washington, Jake Currie of England and Brian Kilgallon of Florida.
