Vardar defender picks Michigan State

Bradley Centala, a starting defender and Class of 2014 prospect for Vardar’s Under-15/16 Development Academy squad, recently committed to Michigan State, ESR learned Monday.

Centala has started all 19 matches for Vardar this season and his three goals from the defender position is tied for second-high on the team. Vardar is in second place in the Mid-America standings and appears bound for postseason play in June.

He was a high school MVP, all-conferene and all-district player at Grosse Point North (Grosse Point, Mich.) during the 2011 season and sat out this past high school season due to Academy commitments.
