Michigan standout picks instate school

Brian Steele, a Class of 2014 prospect from Michigan, verbally committed to Oakland University, he confirmed to ESR on Wednesday.

Steele is a 6-foot-3, 180-pound center back who helped WAZA FC Black to a State Cup title and a group runner-up finish at the recent US Youth Soccer Region II Championships. WAZA FC placed third in the US Youth Soccer National League and second in the Midwest Regional League this past season.

Steele attends Grand Blanc (Grand Blanc, Mich.), where he helped the high school squad to a state runner-up finish in the fall of 2012.
